ARIE CENTER
Expanding Protection for Vulnerable Children: Arie Center in Eilat
Beit Lin
is Israel's national network of Child and Youth Protection Centers, providing immediate, multidisciplinary support to children and adolescents who have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, or severe neglect. The Beit Lin centers were established through a joint initiative of the Efshar Association, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services, and JDC Israel (Joint Israel), in cooperation with the Israel Police, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health, and the local authorities where the centers operate.

Each center brings together social workers, child investigators, medical professionals, and legal representatives under one roof, enabling children and their families to receive comprehensive assessment, protection, and care in a safe, child-friendly environment while minimizing additional trauma. Today, the Beit Lin network includes eight centers across Israel, ensuring that vulnerable children have access to coordinated, trauma-informed services regardless of where they live.

The Arie Center in Eilat expands access to these essential services for children and families in Israel's southernmost region. The center ensures that children in Eilat and the surrounding communities can receive timely protection, medical care, psychological support, and legal assistance close to home, without the need to travel long distances during times of crisis.
