Expanding Protection for Vulnerable Children: Arie Center in Eilat
The Arie Center in Eilat is a Child and Youth Protection Center providing immediate, multidisciplinary support to children and adolescents who have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, or severe neglect — bringing together social workers, child investigators, medical professionals, and legal representatives under one roof to offer comprehensive assessment, protection, and care in a safe, child-friendly environment.
The Arie Center is part of Beit Lin, Israel's national network of Child and Youth Protection Centers, established through a joint initiative of the Efshar Association, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services, in cooperation with the Israel Police, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health, and the local authorities where the centers operate. Today, the Beit Lin network includes nine centers across Israel, ensuring that vulnerable children have access to coordinated, trauma-informed services regardless of where they live.
